The Most Dangerous Game (1932)
Star of the Month Joel McCrea is one of three shipwrecked people who end up on an island owned by a mysterious Count Zaroff…the others are Fay Wray and Robert Armstrong. This bloodthirsty weirdo prefers the most dangerous game…humans! Sounds a bit like that Jean Claude Van Damme movie, Hard Target, as it should..per TCM, this story has been remade many times. This film was made at the same time as King Kong, with several of the same cast and crew.

Bedazzled (1967)
Dudley Moore is Stanley, a short-order cook who has a crush on a waitress (Eleanor Bron from HELP!). He thinks he’s got it made when he meets the Devil (Peter Cook) and trades his soul for seven wishes. Next thing you know, he’s taking on different personae and getting mixed up with the Seven Deadly Sins.
